Nice. Nostalgic. Two memories about ‘Sputnik’.
01) We got a puppy around that time and named him Sputnik. (His sister was named ‘Leika’).
02) A cartoon appeared in ‘The Hindu’. Picture of a Cow with human (Krushcev) face jumping over the moon. A dog with human face (Eisenhower?) watching. Caption read ‘Moscow jumped over the moon’. From then I started to live cartoons.
